Baby, I’m Back | Virginia Beach Photographer

Well, make that after baby, I’m back. Spring is here and my maternity leave is wrapping up. I am sifting through my inbox replying to recent inquiries, so if you haven’t heard back yet, you will soon! Look for specifics on booking sessions for 2011 in a post tomorrow. I’m going to be accepting a limited number of sessions this season and Facebook Fans will have an early opportunity to book, so check out the page to get the inside scoop.

Meanwhile, I am thrilled to share my NEW Portfolio site. It’s been a long-time in the making and I am giddy with the final product: the site is clean, easy to navigate and meshes seamlessly with my brand (plus it’s viewable on your phone or ipad). And, I think the current portfolio images are much more reflective of my style, so take a peek and let me know your thoughts.

I’m giving away a $10 Starbucks gift card to a lucky blog commenter who tells me what your favorite image in the new portfolio is and why (one entry per person/IP address). I’ll choose a number at random from eligible entries tomorrow. You get a bonus entry if you catch a typo — just comment with that as well — or include a suggestion that I implement.

After this amazing break, I am so excited to start shooting again. See you tomorrow with all of the details!

  • brittany - My favorite would have to be the one of the 2 boys naked sitting at the piano. So cute. I am so inspired by your work. Great site.ReplyCancel

  • Brittany - I love love love the one in “My boy. His world.” where he is jumping on the bed. I love the out of focus wall or door to the side that makes it look like you are just observing him without him knowing, and that’s what you found him doing! So cute!ReplyCancel

  • shelby - I cant decide between two…the first is of the grandmother and the young boy, just because I wish I had pictures like this of my grandma with my girls. The second is the family where they are all dressed in white and then you have the one little girl in the superman costume. So priceless and reminds me so much of something you would see in a picture of my family 🙂ReplyCancel

  • Lindsay - Under Why I Shoot? “I aspire for my photographs help to tell the stories.” add the word “to” before help. Under Give Ten, “However, if you think lifeography could” capitalize Lifeography. Redesign looks great!!ReplyCancel
