fall mini session Q&A!

lifeography’s fall mini-sessions are almost full! there are a few slots remaining, so confirm yours now to ensure availability. mini sessions offer a significant discount off a full session pricing and include a mini print package. below are a few questions some of you have asked — and answers:

Q: does my baby/child have to wear a costume?
A: absolutely not! you may dress your child however you like. you may bring a costume as well and we can take a few shots in it as well if there is time.

Q: my baby can’t sit up very well, will this be a problem?
A: no! we have props/chairs to accommodate babies and children of all ages. however, if you have a very young infant, please contact me first to discuss options.

Q: where will the shoot take place?
A: since we’ll be shooting outdoors in the middle of the day, we’ll be “following the light” or the shade, actually! we will meet in downtown newport. exact location details will be sent to participants prior to the shoot, but I expect we’ll be starting near the brick alley pub on thames st.

Q: what happens if it rains?
A: i will select a backup date (tentatively Aug. 26) to reschedule–or, work to arrange shoots on an individual basis. if we are unable to reschedule, participants will receive a full refund of their session fee/deposit. if the weather is overcast– GREAT! that provides perfect light for an outdoor shoot and we will continue as planned.
